Apache Tear Pendant
The Apache Tear is a globule of obsidian. In its natural form, each one is unique and usually has a residual coating. To create these pendents, I start with Apache Tears that are an inch in diameter or a little more. I then wire wrap each with solid copper wire. Each pendant comes with leather lace for a necklace.
According to legend, the Apache warriors were being pursued by the cavalry and became trapped on a bluff. Rather than being captured, the warriors rode their horses over the bluff. When their families came to discover what had happened, the tears that they cried became the Apache Tear.
