Quohog clam shell is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful shells you can find. This US Atlantic shell ranges from almost white to a brilliant purple. This ocean tumbled piece is wire wrapped with 22 gauge copper wire to create a 1.25 inch by 1.25 inch pendant. This one is cream and smokey on one side and smokey purple on the other.
It comes with leather cord for a necklace.
Quohog is the shell that the east coast Native Americans used to create Wampum. When it is shaped, polished, and drilled, it was used for trade and to create beautiful Wampum belts and jewelry.
