This luscious and warm shawl is made from hand spun soft alpaca fiber. It is hand woven on a triangle loom for an ample 70 inches across the shoulder and 34 inches from the neck to the tip. It's the perfect piece to trow on for that cool spring stroll.
I create the variegated yarns by lightly blending the fiber from two differently colored animals on my carder. The yarn then naturally shifts in shade as I spin it. To wash this shawl, simply soak in cool water with a little shampoo, rinse in the same temperature water, squeeze out, and air dry flat. Block while it is still wet.
