This generous shawl is 65 inches across the shoulder and 32 inches from neck to tip. It has been hand woven on a triangle loom with thick hand spun alpaca yarn. For this project, I started with the neck fiber of this beautiful animal. It is not quite as soft as prime alpaca, but still luxurious and warm.
To wash, simply soak in cool water with a little shampoo, rinse in the same temperature water, squeeze out, and air dry flat. Block to shape while it is still wet.
