If you like the idea of a poncho, but don't like pulling it over your head, a ruana might be for you. This chocolate brown ruana is sewn down the center back and is usually worn like a cloak. I have it shown here worn off one shoulder with an overlap drape on the other shoulder.
The hand woven piece is made with two triangles measuring 58 inches by 30 inches. The center back seam is 29 inches. This luxury yarn is hand spun llama.
This piece looks beautiful closed with a broach or a cloak pin. To wash this ruana, simply soak in cool water with a little shampoo. rinse in the same temperature water, squeeze out, and air dry flat. Block to shape while it is still wet.
