These 30 inch belts are hand crochet from hand spun wool. The yarn in these belts is from Navaho-Churro sheep, the first US breed of domestic sheep. It is a very durable wool for long wear.
My grandmother tried to teach me to crochet when I was young. It turned out to be a very difficult task as she was right handed and I'm left handed and at the time was very impatient.
Fortunately, she was persistent enough to teach me enough basics that I was able to pick up a book when I was desperate for warm cloths and progress from where she left off. Years later, I thank her every time I pick up a crochet hook.
